zigzag-binarization

Description

Note

More information about the service specification can be found in the Core concepts > Service documentation.

This service takes an image as input and outputs the same image, binarized. Zizag uses a window to estimate the average intensity around every pixel to determine whether that pixel is text (foreground) or background. Once this is done, the image is 'scanned' again with this window to make a background estimation, with which the text pixels will be.

The API documentation is automatically generated by FastAPI using the OpenAPI standard. A user friendly interface provided by Swagger is available under the /docs route, where the endpoints of the service are described.

This simple service only has one route /compute that takes an image and a text as input, which will be used to rotate the image according to the provided angle (90, 180, 270).
